Harlequins claim the silverware at Anglo-Welsh cup final

Posted on March 21, 2013

On Sunday 17th March Harlequins played a gruelling final match against Sale at Sixways. Tries from Casson, Guest, Wallace and Williams led the Quins to a fantastic score of 32-14 claiming the first piece of silverware this season.

This is the first time Quins have won the domestic knock-out cup since 1991. Fly-half Ben Botica added 12 points with two penalties and three conversions whilst Tom Williams, Tom Guest, Tom Casson and Luke Wallace exhausted themselves scoring a brilliant total of 20 points.

I interviewed two students and they said…

“Harlequins played exceptionally well, the result was very pleasing.”-Alfie

“Tom Guest made some fantastic tackles and brilliant runs, Harlequins deserved that win after their performance.”

A truly outstanding win for Harlequins.
