A Chinese bowl was bought for $3 at a garage sale but at an auction it was sold for $2.2million. This was soon to be found out that this bowl was one thousand years old from northern song dynasty in china. $2.2million is equivalent to £1.5million. This bowl is a rare and important bowl and the almost identical bowl is in a British museum in London. This bowl was purchased by Giuseppe Eskenazi and when he bought he did not know that it was one thousand years old. The buyer competed against four other bidders.
